1. Introduction
Welcome to WorkNepal! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WorkNepal's website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using WorkNepal, you confirm that:
- You are at least 16 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- You will provide accurate and truthful information
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Nepal
- You have read and understood our Privacy Policy
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and current.

3.3 Account Types
WorkNepal offers two types of accounts: Job Seeker accounts and Employer accounts. Each account type has specific features and responsibilities as outlined in these Terms.
4. Job Seeker Obligations
As a job seeker, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and applications
- Keep your resume and profile information up to date
- Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or skills
- Not upload malicious files or content through the platform
- Respect the confidentiality of information provided by employers
- Not use the platform for any fraudulent or illegal activities
- Communicate professionally with potential employers
5. Employer Obligations
As an employer, you agree to:
- Post only legitimate job opportunities
- Provide accurate job descriptions, requirements, and compensation details
- Not discriminate based on age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or other protected characteristics
- Comply with all Nepal labor laws and employment regulations
- Respect the privacy of job seekers and handle their data responsibly
- Not misuse job seeker information for purposes other than recruitment
- Not post jobs that violate any laws or regulations
- Honor the terms of any paid services or packages purchased
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use WorkNepal to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the platform without permission
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Spam users with unsolicited messages or advertisements
- Use the platform for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or similar activities
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 WorkNepal's Rights
All content on WorkNepal, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is owned by WorkNepal or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Nepal and international treaties.
7.2 User Content
By posting content on WorkNepal (resumes, job postings, profiles, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing and promoting our Services. You retain ownership of your content.
7.3 Trademarks
"WorkNepal" and related logos are trademarks of WorkNepal. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
8. Payment Terms
8.1 Paid Services
Certain features and services on WorkNepal require payment. All fees are stated in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and are subject to applicable taxes.
8.2 Billing
Payment terms include:
- Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise specified
- We accept payment methods as displayed on our platform
- All sales are final unless otherwise stated in our refund policy
- Prices are subject to change with notice
8.3 Refunds
Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our refund policy. Contact our support team for refund inquiries.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any job postings or user content
- We do not verify the identity or credentials of users
- We are not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the platform
- We do not guarantee that you will find a job or a candidate through our Services
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We are not party to any agreements between job seekers and employers
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nepal law, WorkNepal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Services
- Any disputes between users
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WorkNepal and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your use of the Services
- Content you post on the platform
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion feature in your settings.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- We receive complaints from other users about your conduct
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the Services
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify you via email or through a notice on our website
- Provide a reasonable notice period before changes take effect (except for urgent changes)
Your continued use of the Services after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on WorkNepal, constitute the entire agreement between you and WorkNepal regarding the Services.
