The Chemical Engineering Intern will support the research and development of hybrid rocket fuels, including paraffin-based and additive-enhanced blends. The role involves conducting laboratory experiments, assisting in combustion testing, analyzing performance data, and contributing to technical reports. The intern will collaborate with propulsion and engineering teams to improve fuel performance and support ongoing aerospace innovation projects.
Strong foundation in thermodynamics, combustion, and chemical engineering principles
Knowledge of polymer chemistry and chemical process engineering
Ability to work with chemicals and laboratory equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good technical documentation and report writing skills
Ability to collaborate with engineering teams
